About:
Urban Sanctuary is an Aveda salon located in Downtown Rochester, MN. Formerly known as The Nail Bar. The Manager, Lisa Richardson of the salon has been in the beauty industry for more than 15 years. After managing The Nail Bar, Lisa saw a growth for hair services downtown. With Lisa being Aveda trained and loving how amazing the education is with Aveda she brought it to downtown Rochester. Lisa hired on an exceptionally trained staff of Hair Stylists, Nail Technicians and Makeup Artists. With now being Aveda concept, Urban Sanctuary has 3 hair chairs and is the only salon with a private hair room for privacy. At Urban Sanctuary we strive on giving our clients an amazing Aveda experience when they walk in the door first starting off with offering our famous Aveda tea and other relaxing rituals with each service that we offer.
At Urban Sanctuary we are very passionate about education. Monthly the staff is either going to education off-site or Lisa is bringing education into the salon. Lisa has had her staff trained by the top educators with Aveda for color, cutting and styling.
